Hi, my name is Linda and I love all things vintage, especially clothing. Having worn vintage clothing for many years, I fell in love with the idea of mixing vintage with what is in style today. It is no surprise that modern designers take their inspiration from designs of the past with their style and quality. Wearing a "real vintage" item gives you a unique look that cannot be captured by just shopping at the Mall.
We began our journey of selling vintage clothing in 2000 selling on eBay and maintain a 100% feedback as gooddeal4all. Our website, vintageclothesline.com, was created in 2005 and continues to offer quality vintage clothing..online & in style.
Here at Vintage Clothesline, we carry a little of everything..40s nipped waist jackets, 50s full skirt dresses, 60s mod minis and 70s drapey maxis, to name a few. We also have quite an inventory of lingerie, hats, gloves, handbags and other accessories to give your outfit that extra punch. Vintage costumes and uniforms are also our speciality.
We have been collecting for years and our inventory is HUGE. If you don't see what you are looking for on our site, give us an email. We may have just what you are looking for! You can be assured of excellent customer service and utmost courtesy with your shopping experience at Vintage Clothesline.
I am a Proud Founding Member of the Vintage Fashion Guild (www.vintagefashionguild.org) and have served as an Executive Officer since 2003 and President in 2008 and 2009. Buy with confidence from any member of the VFG.
A wonderful world of vintage awaits you here at our online store, Vintage Clothesline. To our regular and new customers, we invite you to share in the delight of not only vintage clothing and accessories, but also taste the flavor of vintage decor and antiques.
If fine estate jewelry, vintage textiles or antique books are your thing, then you have come to the right place.
If you like the thrill of auctions, we occasionally offer items on eBay under our eBay ID, gooddeal4all.
And don't forget..we ship internationally, worldwide! If you want it, we will see it is delivered!
So, whether you want to buy from us here on our website or experience the thrill of an auction format...
"Come on over and see what's hanging on our line!"
Thanks,
Linda

Measuring
Measurements are taken with the garment lying flat, measured across bust, waist, hips, etc., then that measurement doubled. To get an accurate measurement, take a piece of your own clothing that fits perfectly and measure just like I do. Sizing on clothes is measured to the MAXIMUM, with bust being measured armpit to armpit and sleeves measured from top near shoulder. Hips are measured 9 inches below natural waist. Waist straight across at the natural waist line. Length is measured from the back of the neck, if possible, to the hem. Exact method of measuring length will be in the description. All measurements are approximate! If you like your clothes loosely, allow a couple inches off the measurements where you like looseness. All items are described to the best of our ability, and we try to stress any possible defects even if they are miniscule--but we occasionally miss things! A note on vintage clothing: these garments usually will show some small signs of wear indicative of age, but we inspect each garment very carefully and will describe any flaws we find. In order to keep our prices low, we rarely dry clean clothing before shipping, so clothes may need freshening or pressing before wearing . HOW WE MEASURE SHOES: Measure your most comfortable shoes or shoes that fit you that are a similar style to get accurate shoe measurements. Inside toe to heel, inside widest part of instep if possible, or outside if that is the only option.
