Vintage 80s comfortable, brown cotton puff sleeve drop waist fall dress with the Models Coat label, Medium to Large.

Details:

VINTAGE CLOTHESLINE PRESENTS for your shopping enjoyment a vintage 1980's brown cotton puff sleeve drop waist fall dress with the Models Coat label. This label is made by Swirl and began in the early 1960's. According to Lizzie Bramlett of the Vintage Fashion Guild it was usually..."just a straight cotton robe that snapped up the front." They were made to be comfortable and easy to slip on.

We have to say we really think this one has a lot more "glamour" to it with its pleating and tucking down the front. It would be a wonderful dress to wear for Fall. Just slip on a cardigan sweater or jacket and you are ready for a walk through the leaves.

It fastens with hidden snaps.

The drop waist ends with a short gathered skirt.

It has two side seam pockets. The puff sleeves are three quarter length and are elastic at the hem.

MEASUREMENTS:

Size: Not Indicated.

Bust: 45 inches.
Hips: 45 inches (at seam where gathered skirt begins).
Full Length from Shoulder to Hem: 42 1/4 inches.
Sleeve Length from Top: 22 inches.
Shoulder Width Back Seam to Seam: 14 3/4 inches.

Condition:
The condition is VERY GOOD. We did note that there were two places on the top and bottom of one pocket where the stitching was coming loose at the seam. This would be easy to stitch back by hand (see picture below). Other than that, it has no rips, tears or stains.
