Spectacular late 1950's, early 1960's vintage genuine toffee brown mink cape coat jacket.

Details:

VINTAGE CLOTHESLINE presents a spectacular late 1950's, early 1960's genuine toffee brown mink cape jacket purchased from a wealthy St. Louis estate. One size should fit all but be sure to check the measurements further below for proper fit.

Fall will be another great season for furs as seen on the runways.

This cape has wonderful little pockets tucked in on the outside of the two longer sections in front and a beautiful full collar that can be worn up or down.

It also looks nice just worn over the shoulders and not using the pockets. The inside shoulder structure allows it to rest on your shoulders securely. To achieve a different look, cinch it with a wide ribbon sash or belt.

The mink fur is in excellent condition. Here are some closeups.

It has a beautiful satin lining.

There is a mongram on the inside but this could be covered with a matching piece of satin and stitched with your own name or initials.

Shoulder Width from Curve to Curve Inside: 18 - 19 inches.
Length from Shoulder to Longest Point Front: 22 inches.
Length from Shoulder to Hem Back: 18 inches.

CONDITION

This item rates an Excellent. This cape would rate a Mint if it wasn't for some basting thread coming loose on inside holding the label on one side. This can easily be restitched by hand using the same zigzag stitching. The fur is soft and you can tell that the cape has been lovingly stored all these years.
